We have designed their new strategic program called Democratizing Innovation in the Americas (DIA) to establish Innovation Centers as part of the extension of the POETA Program.

Microsoft Philanthropies — research on their new Technology for Social Impact initiative that brings he power of technologies to the nonprofit sector.

EcoSawa a new social enterprise working in Kenya. Providing strategic guidance and helping develop Spark Labs.

 

 

Convening Leaders

Seattle International Foundation -- designing, curating and convening the Seattle Philanthropy Forum that will bring together emerging philanthropists from all over the world and help them discover the best practices in global philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing -- www.seaif.org/SeattlePhilanthropyForum.asp

Junior Achievement -- leading a ignite JA movement session in berlin with 300 JA leaders from around the world.

China Global Philanthropy Institute — leading capacity building tour of philanthropist from China to educate them on philanthropic models in the US.

African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative — helping over a hundred African women entrepreneurs scale their efforts by igniting their movements.

 

Teaching, Training, Mentorship

University of Washington, Evans School of Public Policy & Governance -- teaching classes on Social Enterprise and New Models for Funding the Social Sector.

University of Washington, Business School, Bothell -- Executive MBA and Undergraduate Classes on Global Business and Global Environment for Business.

Accelerating Social Transformation – August 11-15, is a partnership between the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy & Governance and the Catalytic Innovators Group. Geared toward professionals in the social good/development space, this course is designed to help you think broader and deeper by learning from leading organizations and experts on effectively adapting to change.

Over the week, participants will learn fresh approaches to social development and better understand how to effectively combine innovative solutions with technology and policy to accelerate social transformation.
